Testing after disappointment

Is anyone else here afraid to use tests after so many evap experiences? Last cycle I had 2 different packs of FRER and they had vvfl it sid get abit darker by 12dpo then i got my AF a couple of days late. Im assuming they were just evaps and my prenatal vitamins and stuff may have just extended my luteal phase

But now im to scared to take any tests, like i live in Aus so amazon and stuff tests arent available to us, so we only really have clear blue, FRER and cheap unreliable tests. But both CB and FRER have bad history of lines so how are we suppose to ever trust them! I was so so excited thinking i was just to be absolutely devastated....
