Last Sunday I was at my local grocery store, I shop there pretty often. Not often enough to make it seem predictable but there enough that most employees recognize me.

Anyways, last Sunday I was doing my weekly shopping with my 3yo son. I was wearing my glasses as I always do in most places (I have eye bags) and noticed that this tall guy kept ending up in my same isle. Well when I finally looked at him he was "taking pictures of the barcode" I didn't think anything of it, figured he was the stores secret shopper and was trying to see if I was stealing or something? I'm not sure I was just trying to be in and out, although I had a full buggy. I end up in the Cheese and Dairy area and I hear an alarm go off 😳 I was shocked, I go weekly and that's never happened. As I walk by the bread area, I see the staff by the emergency door. Someone had pushed it!

Still at this point I'm not putting 2 & 2 together.

I go to get cases of water and lone behold, there's the tall man "scanning" energy drinks, glancing at me. At this point now I'm fully aware of him following me. Again I have a fully buggy and he has NOTHING. I head to a check out line and he kinda rushes to the back.

I proceeded asking the clerk if they have secret shoppers and he said no. I told him that I think I'm being followed. And when he asked me what the guy looked like, THE TALL MAN gets in self checkout RIGHT beside me.. I told my clerk that was him and he told me no that he doesn't know him, and I state that I also don't know him. That guy walked outside and out his hood on. I tried paying attention to what vehicle he was getting to, and noticed that he walked around an entire different side of the parking lot compare to the car he got into in the way back of the parking lot. As im telling the clerk details, and trying to finish paying, I'm still trying to see what car he got into. But I just see a Nissan Altima pulling out and circle the parking lot. At this point I'm not sure if that's the car but a clerk walks us to my car. I pull out that opposite way of where I seen the parked car.. as I'm pulling out I see, that Altima next to me trying to back out of the handicap, dark windows so I can't see who was inside.

I start driving off and see the Altima stop and wait at every stop sign to see where I drive off. I'm calling my husband and he isn't answering. I should've called the police (jail is just across the street) I finally hooked a right and sped off, heart beating. Show up home crying my husband didn't believe me and made it seem like I was just talking out my ass... I felt so embarrassed.

He talked me into getting My CC.. so now I have protection.

But I had went to the store yesterday (Tuesday) and kept myself very aware of my surroundings. I didn't see the guy again, but when I was driving off I SEE A TALL MAN GET INTO A NISSAN! I feel like I'm losing my mind but I feel like I can't even speak up to defend myself because NO ONE is going to believe me. I don't even know how to go about it to the police because I don't know who this man is 😭😭

I feel scared to leave my house or let my kids even be outside. I don't know this guy's intentions. I'm small 4'8 and feel ashamed just CC to protect myself because I don't think I can ever use it.
