RSV symptoms in toddlers/ babies?

Hi guys so I’m curious as to what specific symptoms specifically come with rsv or how they start off, I’ve never had to deal with it but I think one of my babies might be sick with it, so if you guys can drop down comments , still a first mom with 2 so rsv is new to me . It just may be a simple cold but wanna cross my T and dot my I and make sure he isn’t sick with it, TIA !

I’ve seen tonnes of videos on TikTok about this, people showing what the actual symptoms look like when their kids are experiencing it especially young babies so would recommend having a look to see if it matches what you’re seeing with your two. Hopefully they’re doing ok!

It’s a respiratory virus similar to a cold, but it moves to the lungs and can cause shallow and difficult breathing. That’s a big indication of RSV is trouble breathing.

My son just had RSV and it presented like a normal cold. It can just be a normal cold and not cause any breathing issues. He had congestion, a cough (no fever), sneezing and his eyes were running. We were lucky he did go to ER but they have him a steroid and breathing treatment and didn’t keep him overnight (this was 5 days into it). Good luck. I hope your kids don’t get it.
