5weeks 2days today. Had bad cramps (bearable), then started spotting. Am I miscarrying??

It's possible, but could be another reason such as subchorionic hematoma, best to follow up with OB. Hcg blood draws, ultrasound.

I had spotting in my first trimester. It was because the placenta was laying on my cervix and any small move would "break" those blood vessels so i was put on pelvic rest. Eventually the placenta grew away from my cervix.
