First doctor appointment at 10 weeks. Normal?

I’m a little over 5 weeks pregnant t and my doc doesn’t want to see me till 10 weeks along. This is my 3rd pregnancy and with my first it was 8 weeks and 2nd was 6 weeks. Just not sure why they want to do it so late…makes me paranoid.

Normal, I've had miscarriages and ectopic and I'm still not seen till 8-10 weeks. I do get hcg blood test every 48hrs then the switch to weekly starting at 5 weeks leading up to my appointment.
