Does period go by when you ovulate?

So I for sure ovulated on either 11/11 or 11/12 as the day after that all opk tests were negative, but during the days of I had high LH. I bd 11/10, 11/11, and 11/13 and many times the next week even though I was no longer ovulating. I’m never late and my cycles are always 28 or 29 days, I’m going on CD30 with no sign besides intense cramps. Two days ago I wiped once and see a tiny dot of brownish discharge but since then nothing. I’m now two days late and I know I should test but before I do is this normal? Like does this happen to a lot of people? Thank you
