Hot flash?? Idk

I’m 3 months pp from a high risk pregnancy due to high blood pressure. I’ve had it since I was a teen already so I was on medicine before during and now as well. It’s been completely fine but the last week or so my face gets really really hot and red out of nowhere and it feels like my ankles and feet swell up and get hot. It lasts for like an hour or so. I check my blood pressure during it and it’s always completely normal. Is there something else that could cause this? Calling doctor tomorrow
