Prune juice for newborn?

My daughter is a week old. And she hasn’t pooped today. I called Pediatrician to ask for advice. She is formula fed, and she is drinking about an ounce and a half every three hours. The pediatrician recommended to make the bottle and then add an ounce of prune juice into it. I never heard of this, so I’m just asking has anyone done this before? ￼

No absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!! Formula fed babies can go up to 9 days without pooping. Unless it's hard pellets she's not constipated. She's fine. Leave her be.

No. My daughter didn’t go everyday and she’s fine, she just goes every other day or even every couple days. Unless you can see your baby is trying to go and can’t there’s are other options.

FIND A NEW PEDIATRICIAN. Jeez. Do NOT give that baby anything but formula or breast milk. If EBF, babies can go a week without pooping because they are getting exactly what they need. One day is not unusual at that age. Oh my goodness.

Her little tummy definitely cannot handle any type of juice right now. It’s totally normal for her to go a day without pooping, I’m pretty sure like up to a week is fine. Definitely do not give her any juice
