What are some of your favorite books? My 19 year old niece loves to read so I’m thinking about getting her books for Christmas. I hate reading so I don’t really know any good books out there

Book preferences are a bit personal and depend on a person's idiosyncrasy. 
But here are 3 I really like. The third especially because I read it as a teenager and it hit completely differently than it did now. 
1. Mission box by Aris Alexandrou;
2. Number 31328 by Elias Venezis;
3. Book of my mother (le livre de ma mère) by Albert Cohen.

A beautiful copy of a classic or a first edition / antique edition of a favorite book. Libraries have sales all the time and I have found some beautiful old copies of books for crazy cheap (like a couple dollars). 
The Harry Potter series is one of my favorite that a lot of younger people haven’t read. Hunger games is a great series as well. 
Think of her interests and find books with plots in those areas. I enjoy the outdoors, so outdoor adventure books, especially climbing, are ones I enjoy. Into Thin Air is a wonderful climbing book. Finding your interests in a book can really bring it to life.
