My daughter (almost 7) has been begging to go somewhere to see snow for two years now. Each year, we say we will, but with COVID and family things, we haven’t made it happen.

So, her big Christmas surprise this year is that we are going on a road trip to see snow and spend time as a family, stopping at different things along the way.

I have her and a 2-year-old son. The first day will be the longest stretch of the trip, around 10 hours. The rest will only be a couple hours, since we will be stopping and sight seeing and then getting a hotel.

What are some things that I can get/do to help them through the trip? Especially my son.

I have downloaded movies that they can watch. I got my son a “busy board”, and I got each of them some of those crayola coloring books that the marker only colors on those specific pages. What else?

We plan to stop every couple of hours to eat/potty/walk around. But I’m still looking for little activities they can do in a van to help fight some of the boredom!
