How to help baby to stand?

Zaza

Hiya,

So my 11 month old seems eager to stand, but can’t do it on her own. She climbs on top of her daddy and me and uses us as support to stand whilst she’s on the bed or uses the arms on the couch. But when she’s in her play pen, there isn’t anything as such to help. I just saw her trying to use her kind of hard toy (the one that has little pop up animals when you successful turn or press certain buttons), to stand, but in the past that toy has injured her when she wobbled and fell when she tried using the playpen’s barrier to stand. What could I use in the playpen to help her? I’ve tried stacking cushions and pillows but she doesn’t go near them nor feels like climbing them (only when she’s on the bed she wants to do that hahaha). I’ve used my hands to support, but the action of getting in the standing position and the weight shifting etc I think won’t be achieved if I interfere/help.

Any advice?

Edit: When I say “playpen” I mean a large area boarded by wood and with play mats on the floor.
