Boyfriend problems

Hi everyone. My boyfriend (M30) and I (F23) have been having some problems. We have been dating 9 months. The first few months, he took out 3-4 loans to pay for everything to make it look like he had money. He thought I was high maintenance. He did not tell me about these loans until the 4th one. He had a lot of money problems after paying all of them off. That was the first big problem in our relationship and it was only one month in. Now, he got a letter in the mail saying he is being taken to court for over $3,000 in damages from his old apartment that his ex fiancé trashed. I have no idea if she did trash it or it was him. Now he has to get a lawyer and fight it. The other money problem was that his car engine broke mid way through our relationship, he had no money and asked his grandfather for $3,000 to get a car. Now, I don’t know if it’s just me or if he has huge money problems but I do not want to tangle myself in this mess. Am I reasonable? Advice? Thank you!
