What should I do

At the start of this week a guy I’ve had my eye on became single. He said he wanted to hang out sometime & asked for my snap. I didn’t have time to give it bc I was late for class. Next day I see him alone in the hallway getting water, he came closer to me and said he never got my snap so I told him it ( it’s a super easy one to remember). That night he added me and we talked for a bit . Yesterday he asked me to come over this weekend and I said yes and we started to be very flirty. Now he is the problem he is a bit of a man whore and Ik that, all my friends say he is only using me for sex but I honestly don’t care. They all telling me stay away from him but I want to. Should I listen to my friends or not? ( also my friends have tried ruining my relationships in the past so idk who to listen to )
