Needing more

Is it wrong to tell my husband that I need him to dominate me in bed? I've always needed it but he's not like that. Not that he isn't a demanding person but he's not dominating. So I've put up with 10 years. But I'm tired of not getting it now. I also feel like I should of been upfront in the past and now it's my fault. I just know it's not who he is. What do I do?
