2nd induction? Was labor faster?

My first one took sooooo long. Went in Sunday at 6 had the baby early Tuesday morning. Does the 2nd time go by faster?

My first induction was 7 hours, 20 min pushing
Second induction 3.5 hours, 5 min of pushing

Can't speak from experience (I had a long induction with my 1st too), but I've looked into the research on this. On average, labor tends to be 30-50% shorter for kid #2 compared to kid #1. However this study only looked at women who went into labor naturally, so it's hard to know if it applies to induction. Hopefully it's faster for us!
