Only 2 teeth

Anybody else’s 15 month old only have 2 teeth? At her 12m appt her doc didn’t seem worried that she didn’t have any at that time. I feel like I can see almost all of them under her gums on the top but they haven’t popped through. I am starting to get a bit concerned and will definitely talk to her doc at next weeks appt but it just seems weird to me

My pediatrician told me the later the teeth come in has a correlation to starting puberty later as well. My son didn’t get his first one till 13 months and now he’s 17 months and has 7. I’ve been reassured time and time again it’s normal

It’s not really anything to worry about, but you can make an appointment with a pediatric dentist. Yes, I recommend pediatric.

I was worried about my son also a week ago since he had only 2 teeth. Now, I am worried because of the pain he is experiencing. His third tooth came out maybe 3 days ago, his fourth tooth yesterday and his fifth and sixth are about to come out. Enjoy the less tooth and less painful days. When teething starts, maybe you'd be more worried.

My experience with baby teeth coming in. My oldest four kids teeth came in early. My son 8 teeth all came in a month before his birthday. I didn’t think he would have any by his birthday.

Mine has 8 teeth, but one of her playmates has 4 at 16 months. I guess they just grow out in different rates. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe your little one’s teeth will pop one after the other really quikly. But its a good idea to mention it to the doctor just so that he knows.
