Two steps forward and one step back - anyone else?
I feel like every time I start on a project to get things ready for our little one that things end up a bigger mess than they started. For example, my husband often works from home and we had a shared in home office. The office felt a little cramped so my husband had set up his work station at our dining table and had been working from there. We decided since I really never use the office to rearrange things so that the office could be his, so he would have a quiet and secluded space to take conference calls and such while working from home. In order to do this we decided to get rid of several pieces of furniture, and rearrange the existing furniture. We also decided to redo our filing system and have been going through all our paperwork and reorganizing that as well. So currently our office is a mess. We also have some furniture in the living room we pulled out and now need to get rid of. On top of that we have Christmas goodies which need to be put away. However, we finished painting the little ones room, her furniture is up, and I've. washed all her linens and clothes. I have linens on her crib, changer, and bassinet, with clothes draped over to keep things clean. I have purchased, assembled, and started organizing all the must have items for her arrival. Just need a few different organizers and trash pails in her room still. Put together her hospital diaper bag. And have all the stuff for my hospital bag - just need to wash and pack it. I know I've made a lot of progress, but it is just so frustrating feeling like I'm doing so much work and somehow things seem messier than ever. Anyone else having similar issues?
