Exploring privates or something else?

Hi moms, I looking for advice. My 14 month old started daycare for the first time in his life just two weeks ago. It’s been a huge transition for the both of us. Last night during bath time he was playing with his privates and he hasn’t ever done that before. I’m a first time mom so idk what’s normal but I couldn’t sleep all night and decided to keep him home today, and have already found a new daycare. But can y’all lmk if him playing with his privates is normal around 14-15 months or is it a sign of something more sinister 😣😣😣 I’m so stressed out, please help!!
