Measuring ahead ???

I just had a quick question I am 30weeks and 6 days I am measuring 2 weeks ahead so this mean I will have my baby early I know it’s kind of a stupid question but I had never measured ahead with my previous pregnancy?

My step mom (doctor) said the earlier gestational age ultrasounds are much more accurate and not to worry much if you're measuring ahead later on.

This my 3rd pregnancy n Im measured 2 weeks ahead n I had both of them at 38w 1 day..doctors telling me ima have this one around the same time or a week early

I’m 29 weeks measuring 31 weeks so my doctor ordered an ultrasound for next week. She didn’t seemed too concerned just wants to double check my fluid. This is my third. With my second I measured ahead every time, I had a different doctor then so no extra ultrasounds but I ended up having to be induced a week after my due date (so I definitely wasn’t due sooner). From what I understand measuring isn’t very accurate, just an extra thing they do.

Definitely doesn’t mean that you’ll have your baby early! By fundal measurement I’m measuring 3 weeks ahead but ultrasound measurements say my baby is only 20th percentile. Measuring the belly is not a very accurate way to tell!

My first measured 3 weeks ahead and was born on his due date. My other 2 were a week ahead at this point and induced a week before.

I always measure ahead. It’s not a super accurate way of measuring baby as there’s other factors such as how much fluid you have, the position of your pubic bone etc. If they’re worried, they’ll send you for a fetal assessment ultrasound.
