Gross question

Jessica
Ok ladies. I want to hear what everybody's periods are like. I've been living with pcos for many years and I'm a nurse. I know (an I know we know) all the "symptoms" including absent periods, hair growth, anovulation, etc. but what do your periods actually look like? I've always had lots of clots and old blood unless I've been on birth control. Mine can be very short and light to long and heavy with lots of pain . . . It kinda depends. I can go 36-45-90 days at this point (in my teens I could go 8-9 months) before I have a period. Even though I know this is part of pcos I still just need to know I'm  "normal" in our abnormal pcos world.
