Does hcg double with a blighted ovum ?

Just wondering if hcg would double or just slowly rise ? If you had one what was your hcg like?

Mine was rising how it was supposed to and I didn’t know until an ultrasound

Mine was tripling every 48 hours

Mine went up about 90% first 48 hours, then second check only went up about 60% in 48 hours. Before my OB ordered hcg checks, I had an early ultrasound after having spotting where we saw an empty gestational sac that was also smaller than it should have been. Unless you have reason to suspect blighted ovum or miscarriage, don't get too freaked out if your hcg isn't quite doubling.

Mine doubled, but closer to the 72 hour mark vs 48. So it was slower - but still doubled.
