How long to wait to test?

So the other day on Thursday night I had what is suspected implantation discharge. It looked like a very faint but noticeable pink color mixed with “slimy” discharge. When should I test for pregnancy? I have no idea what my ovulation cycles are like as I am still breastfeeding into 13 months postpartum. I haven’t had my period but I just stopped the mini pill about a week ago. I took a test this morning and it was pretty negative. Should I wait another few days and test with the second test I got? Getting antsy. I ask because before I stopped taking the pill I also had a few times where I forgot a pill or two in a row.
