Bestfriend problems

So there's this guy that me and him just started to be best friends and I no he likes me, but we promised either no feelings attached just friends since my boyfriend came back, but everytime we talk he always saids something that has to do with relationship things, and I always tell him remember we're just friends and he saids he knows, what should I do? Do you guys think he will try something ?
