Why did i choose him?

As I’m sitting with my boyfriend at the kitchen table.

He watches a movie on his phone while I sit in silence and he ignores me.

His mom decided she was gonna take the kids outside to go on a ride with her, and I was fine with that, they went with her down the street and he continued to watch his phone. As soon as they walk out the door he says “so your just gonna go let them wander?”

He didn’t care that the kids went with his mom. He cared that I should never have alone time, or time for him and I. While he watched his phone, just in his mind thinking I should be with the kids outside while he plays with his phone and ignores me anyways.
