First time mom struggles
Hi ther
I have a two month old baby who is so curious and lively. She is my first and only daughter of my husband and I, so we are pretty new to this.
I’m navigating motherhood for the first time. So I’m not exactly sure what is normal and what is not normal in a newborn. I noticed my daughter started smiling sometimes when I play with her. Other times she stays serious or interacts less. She doesn’t smile often to be honest with you and I’m concerned she needs more interactions.
Most of the time she observed what is happening around her and I can tell she is intrigued by her new world. She cries when she needs something, which is expected. However, is it normal if a two month old baby is not smiling as much or trying to “talk” when adults are interacting with her?
How many hours in a day is good to interact with a newborn and in what way?
