Yesterday his dog went missing since her leash broke in half and she ran away. He was at work (one hour away) & I called him to come look for her since she’s only attached to him. It was getting late so I had to get ready for work the next morning. I told him “ I haven’t even taken a shower or finished my meal” he ignores me & says “look for her” then says “come out here please to find her” I said “I have to work early tomorrow” he said “I DON’T CARE!”

Finally , he finds her saying “imma hit you fucking dog of shit, I almost had a heart attack”. She was all dirty from the woods & he was so called angry to bathe her. He apologized to me and said he was just panicking. Then I said “you’re 32 obsessed with a female dog do you know how embarrassing that is?” I would expect for him to obsess over me that way but nooo.. & now I’m in the wrong for expressing myself..

I feel like I’m being put second option.. he didn’t care if I had to work early morning. He claims he never met someone “jealous” of a dog before & that it’s “a line of insecurity”.

FYI: I have nothing against the dog personally. We’re in an apartment & to me a dog in an apartment Is unsanitary… The thing is that she sheds too much and she ruins furniture and has a potty problem & she is disobedient.. I would understand a little more if she was trained and well behaved.. but, no I’m sure we won’t be getting out deposit back thanks to her…

Any opinions???…

Update: I’ll be bad if I have a child with him for him to put an animal before his own blood. I’ve seen cases of that before.
