Any thoughts on this?

My boyfriend doesn’t make out with me. We’ve been together for almost 2 years. In the beginning we would make out not a lot but definitely while having sex. He slowly started to not do it, I would try but he would reject me and it was just really weird during sex cause I mean what the hell where is the passion if there’s no kisses lol. I’ve always liked making out with my partner I think it’s very intimate and gets things hot before the action. I know for sure I don’t have a hygiene issue cause I’ve never been told otherwise, I brush and take care of my oral hygiene so I don’t know why he doesn’t do it. I also know I’m not a bad kisser

I have asked him before and he said he just doesn’t like it much or that he didn’t brush his teeth. The last time I spoke to him about it I asked him if it was me if there was in issue with me and he said no then proceeded to “make me happy” by making out with me so I thought okay seems like he will make an effort but then never did it again. I guess i never really met someone who doesn’t like it. I feel like it’s kinda drifting me away when we have sex cause I don’t feel the same connection. I don’t know if I should talk to him again or what.
