I can’t believe NIPT is $600. Also I can’t imagine spending $65 plus shipping for wrong results. At this point I’d just wait for 20 weeks and save the money.

Are you sure insurance doesn’t cover your NIPT?  I was told by my first dr that it cost $300 but when I went to test with my second, it was completely covered. I didn’t pay a dime.

I’m not one to want scans either. However the 20 week scan looks at all areas of your baby’s anatomical development. Finding out the gender is just an option while they’re look at and taking measurements of everything else. If you don’t end up paying for sneak peak of its equivalent, the 20 week scan option is there.
