2 consecutive miscarriages and what to do next

I know miscarriage is quite common but just wondering if people have had 2 miscarriages one after the other and what people did next? We are trying to conceive again but really don’t want to do the same thing again and have another miscarriage. I have an appointment with the doctors and hoping to get tested for hormonal imbalance. I seem to have no issue at all getting pregnant it’s just staying pregnant. Any stories from people who have been through a similar thing would be appreciated!
