so I’m 17, I have a cat about 10 months old and she’s kind of chaotic but the sweetest ever. anyways my mom has a toilet paper roll she keeps on a desk for when she’s working and my cat will grab it at 4:00 am and shred it all over the place. I picked it up the first few times but every single morning I get up and my cat shredded it again and I have to pick it up. I told her she needs to put it in a place my cat can’t get it. She won’t move it, we got into an argument because i told her if she doesn’t move it to a less accessible place i think it’s fair she has to pick up the mess and she says “it’s your cat, your mess.” i know this is silly but I’m just curious, who should be the one to pick up the mess? * side information, my cat needs to be able to get out of my room at night because her litter box is downstairs and that’s the only place she uses it so I can’t lock her in my room at night.
