Unprotected sex

Please don’t judge, but I had unprotected sex. I have no clue why I would do this. Things were just getting intense and we kind of just did it but now I’m scared really scared. He tells me he swears he has nothing (STD) and that if I wanted for him to get tested he would just so I Can be calm.

Have any of you been in a situation like this? I feel horrible about myself now. I hadn’t had sex in months as well.
