Chlamydia freaking out!

I just got tested positive for chlamydia and I'm freaking out. I've only been with this one guy and we hooked up a couple times but I really really like him and it was mortifying to tell him....please reassure me chlamdyia is common and I'm not alone. Also that it's okay I lost this amazing guy over it :(
