should i go to the hospital or wait? pls read

so i’m on my period and me and my bf had sex yesterday and after that immediately i started having this stabbing pain where my left ovary is and it hurts to the point i can’t move without crying and it’s still this consistent pain. I have a small cyst on my left ovary but was told it shouldn’t be anything to worry about but i’m scared that i might have a ruptured cyst or something and i’m not sure if i should wait it out to see if it goes away and make an appointment or if i just need to go to the hospital.
