So I have Aetna and I’ve been paying for my Labor and Delivery fees since I started seeing my midwives. I read online about a woman who switched providers at 34 weeks and got refunded for the fees she paid because she was paying for her labor and delivery. So she was no longer seeing them and they haven’t actually provided the service they refunded her. I wanted to know if I signed up for Medicaid would they refund me the money I have spent on my labor and delivery since Medicaid would cover the cost of that? Not concerned with the Drs visits fees but I pay about 100-150 per appointment and if I could get that back and Medicaid cover it I’d like to. This is my first pregnancy so not sure how everything works.
