Need help

Okay so I’ve been on metformin for three months now this being the third month and I’ve already taken my pills it’s been 12 days since I finished them and I still haven’t started. The first month I started when I started taking the pills, the second I started at the end of the last couple of pills and this month no sign of anything. In-between month 2 and this month I had discharge similar to that of ovulation discharge but I’m not sure if that was it or not. My app says I’m 11 days late for my period and I haven’t mentioned anything to my Dr yet as I was waiting for it to come on but it hasn’t and it’s almost the end of the month. Should I take a test or no? Obviously I’m contacting my dr asap
