I am almost 39 with an 11 year old and 8 year old. Am I totally crazy for wanting to try for a baby now?

I feel almost ridiculous even considering having a baby at my age. I know my parents will think the same. I can’t even bring myself to try bc that’s how intimidated I am to start over at my age. I don’t know how to get past this. It’s causing me great anxiety. But I still don’t feel like my family is complete. We tried for our third for about 3 years when we were younger but it never happened. We were fully tested. No reason at all. Just never happened for us. 5 years later after first ttc our third, and I still think lf that baby that never happened for us.

Go for it!!! 1000%! I’m 34 (hubby is 43), have a 13yo and 7yo and we are TTC for our third. Basically I get baby fever every 7 years LOL! I can completely relate to that feeling… it’s not exactly baby fever it’s like something is missing. My grandmother believed there were “souls out there looking desperately for mothers” and I hope we both find our next ones!! 
I can relate to the telling your parents deal as well. I’ve told some of my family and they are overjoyed but my husbands family is going to be shocked if/when it happens - but they will have to deal! It’s OUR lives, OUR babies, and OUR dreams! 
Also, some of my closest friends that are my age have siblings in their teens and they are super close. I don’t think it’s wrong/“too late” (aside from literal menopause) to welcome another baby into this world if you and your immediate family want another!

I’m about to turn 35 mother of four.  18,15,10,5
I was completely done nothing could change my mine I had zero baby fever. 
We used withdrawal method and tracking for the last 5 years and it worked perfectly. However last month I missed my period and tested thinking noting of it and it was shocking to read positive. I cried. I was so upset. 
Finally after a week of depression and shock and my husband telling me it  will be okay and we will make it work and saying all the wonderful things about it I was finally in a place of acceptance and getting excited. A week later I started bleeding and miscarried at 7 weeks. I was devastated I didn’t realize how bad I wanted another baby or “needed one” until I lost it. So here I am ttc one more time!! 
I’ll be tying my tubes if I’m blessed with one more baby. 
I say go for it.

Not crazy at all. My sister in law waited to have a baby at 38 and had another one at 40 years old. Both babies are healthy and happy as can be. If it is God’s will it will happen. Wish you both the best and a happy and healthy baby. God bless you.
