5 days late, 2 negative tests

Hi, this is my first time posting…

I took 2 early detection tests, the first 6 days before my missed period and the other one 4 days before. Both were negative. Not even faint lines.

My period is never ever late. I’m like clockwork every month, but I’m now 5 days late, no period symptoms whatsoever except some very light cramping. I’ve had more discharge than usual and 2 nights ago I had light pink discharge so thought my period was coming, but there’s been nothing.

I’m gonna take another test tomorrow, but I just wanted to know… with the things I’ve experienced so far, could the 2 negative tests I’ve taken already just be negative cause they were too early, or is my period genuinely just late this time around?
