For those that went into labor naturally, what was your first main sign?

Period-like cramps... which turned into contractions.

My water broke with my first at 40+2. I was induced with my second because of medical complications at 38+3.

Contractions. Had them for weeks so Wasn’t sure if they were real or not. Took a bath, drank lots of water and they kept up. They started to get uncomfortable and I made my husband take me to the hospital. During the ride over I knew I was in labor because the contractions were making me yell in pain. They checked my cervix and told me I’d unknowingly labored to 9cm at home.

Period like cramping and lots and lots of mucus discharge, like a lot. I imagined losing it in one peice, but nope it was like a ton of snot for like 2-3 days, then cramping mostly in my back, then bloody show and shortly after water broke! Overall my early labor was over 3 days of pretty regular but not super intense contractions/cramping then another 20 hours after my water broke at 4-5cm. 4/5 cm dilated and water breaking was when I would say contractions got regular and painful

Depends on which baby. 
Baby 1- my water broke 
Baby 2- lost my mucous plug and instant contractions 
Baby 3- strong steady contractions plus bloody show 
Baby 4- prodromal labor for 2 weeks then sudden super strong contractions 
Baby 5- contractions that woke me up at 2 am and didn’t stop 
Baby 6- water broke, contractions started, baby was born in 3 hours
Every baby was different ❤️

Bloody show for atleast 2 weeks, then my water broke finally and had immediate contractions and delivered 30 min later.

First tine: Explosive diarrhea that became intense contractions.
Second time: Having false labor every night for a month almost until my real contractions started like turning a switch one night.
