Question for social workers or people who live in section 8 housing:
I have a question about Section 8 housing. Does receiving/being enrolled in Medicaid health insurance (or being dually enrolled in Medicaid & Medicare) effect eligibility for Section 8 housing or the amount you are required to pay for rent? For example, does receiving Medicaid health insurance mean your rent will be higher than someone who doesn’t receive Medicaid health insurance? Does Medicaid count as earned income or assets?
