Bringing baby home without car?

Hi,
I live in London and my partner and I don’t have a car. I know they don’t let you leave the hospital without a carseat, but what are the options in this case? Do they let you attach the carseat to the stroller? Do they require taxi? I have literally no clue

Yea they don’t really check this anymore. I walked out of hospital carrying my baby this time as hubby had the car outside and didn’t want to pay for parking (anymore) 😂 so I just carried her out and put her in the car when I got there.

If check with the hospital if you can go without one but they would let you go with it attached to a pushchair. It's just knowing you have one so you can get home safely

This doesn’t actually happen anymore…..as long as baby is in a pram or car seat and safe that’s all that matters it doesn’t matter how your getting home they don’t even ask.
