Is a 4D ultra sound worth it?

My DR’s office does them for free, but they’re pretty cool. Not sure I’d pay a ton of money to get it done privately tho

Worth it to me. Pregnancy is such a special time, and life can be so fleeting. You never know what will happen, so if you have the money and want to do it, I think it’s worth it. We made a day out of it. Ultrasound, lunch, and shopping. I loved seeing my darling little girl move around. It was $100 for mine.

SO worth it. We paid $185 but we got like 15 videos and 25 pictures! He was really hiding in my hip and keeping his hand over his face so it was hard for us to get pictures of his whole face at one time but most of them still turned out pretty good and the experience was amazing. 😍

Yes I def think it’s worth it. They cost around 400 here but our dollar is different… we get USB and everything sent to email plus pictures printed out. I did all my three kids but my older girls are packed away as they’re 11 and 9 now and I’ve moved so I’m yet to take these pictures out. But this was my son in late January of 2021 when he was 30 weeks. I did my girls when they were 26 weeks. I think 30 weeks is perfect. I’m 25 weeks pregnant and will def be doing hers too!

My regular doctor's office offers the 3D ones which makes me glad I've never paid for a private one because every single time I've asked, my babies are smashed against either my uterus wall or the placenta and they can't get anything 😂😂

I guess it depends on the person. I’ve had 3 out of my 7 pregnancies and 1. My kids never look like those pictures EVER lol 2. They are pricey here about $150-$175 and they won’t do them here until like 36 weeks so I’m usually better off saving my money and waiting a couple more weeks to see baby until birth because the ones I’ve had, my babies looked nothing like it once they were born. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Cute little keepsakes though.

It can or can not be worth it. I paid $130 where I live for 20 mins but think she went a bit over because baby was just sleeping and we were trying to get her to move or do something. So I mean I feel if baby is active during its definitely more worth it. Mine was just sleeping the whole time so kinda felt not too worth it. But my last sono at drs I got some crappy pics and that was my last time before having her that I’d be able to see her, which is why I did the 3D/4D session.

I had one at 16 weeks for a gender scan, it was definitely worth it although my baby looked like an alien at that point😂 Could see her features and such but she was really skinny.
Depending where you go it could be pricey but it's worth it.
