Have you had your wisdom teeth removed during pregnancy? If so, care to share your experience?

Just a bit nervous! I’m supposed to get my referral for the surgeon to do it here in a few weeks and the dentist said it’s up to the surgeon if he wants to proceed during pregnancy or not and if he chooses not then they want me to get them out literally a few days after I give birth and I don’t want to do that 😭

I'm getting my wisdom tooth removed next week and I will be 29 weeks 4 days. The dentist said that it's best to remove it as my tooth has been chronically infected for years and is a risk to myself and baby. It also took almost a year to get the appointment.
He said local anaesthetic is safe and the best time to get it removed is towards the end of the second trimester because first trimester could be risky and third trimester, well, he doesn't want to be delivering a baby mid op😂 I'm in the third trimester now but he said as long as before 30 weeks he doesn't have an issue.
I say all this to say, I'll let you know how it goes.

If it's not an emergency I wouldn't. I found out during my first pregnancy that my teeth shifted and I needed my wisdom tooth taken out. I had it done after I had my baby because there wasnt an emergency.
