What is this and how do I help?

Question

I don’t trust our doctor and our boy is getting worse now with these sores/ pustules. 
Does anyone have experience of this and how to treat whatever it is? He is also teething (top front 2 teeth) so lots of dribble and pacifier use.
We are using an antibiotic that isn’t the most helpful.
Appreciate any help!!! 🙏🏼

Thanks for the comments. He was taken to the doctor but wasn’t told specifically what it was. Medicine didn’t help so ended up going to hospital as he also has a cold with some laboured breathing 😮‍💨.
Cold sores that got a bacterial infection plus a respiratory bug that’s going around! 
He’s on the mend now after getting some better attention 🙏🏼

It looks sort of like impetigo or some sort of virus that’s causing the sores. Poor baby! I would 💯 take him in as soon as possible so he can be correctly diagnosed.
