Did your dr give you the option to be induced after 39 weeks with ur first baby?

Just FYI most inductions end in C-section and take very long and are very unpleasant/painful. If necessary I would get one but if possible, I would avoid.

No. I had a wonderful OB/GYN who highly encourage going into labor naturally and wouldn't even discuss induction unless totally medically necessary. You're not even full term yet.

I was always told 41 week because induction most the time ends up being a c section I was an hour from the hospital and office I went to at that plus was winter when I was due and they wouldn't until then even with my contractions close but my last pregnancy I had to be induced at 36 weeks 1 day because icp start to finish it was only 3.5 hours of labor but was the worst I'd rather go past my due date this pregnancy and go into labor on my own then be induced

Nobody should get induced, it’s not safe for you or baby. A lot of inductions end up being cesareans. Labor is completely natural and best for things to happen when the time comes, don’t force it. When baby is ready to come out they will release a chemical that your body reacts to and releases hormones to start contractions. That’s fact. I can get really specific about this but it’ll be long long to type. Having an induction is forcing your baby to come out when they are not ready and puts them at risk. Yes I know at the end of pregnancy is forever long and you’re tired and just ready for it to happen but it’s best to just wait and let it happen when your baby is ready to be born.

I was induced at 39 week no medical reason they gave me the option both my babies were born vaginally no medical problems just healthy babies 👶
