Is there another ultrasound towards end of pregnancy?

So obviously there’s the dating scan and then 20 week anatomy scan - is there another scan in 3rd trimester? Just wondering how they know how small/big baby would be?

Depends on different things. If you’re in the UK and high risk you get growth scans 32, 36 & 38 weeks I believe

My office does another scan at 32 weeks. I’m not sure if there’s one more after that to check positioning. But every appointment my nurse practitioner looks on the handheld ultrasound machine.

Yes they usually do one last growth scan unless you have other reasons to have them done

For me I’ve had one around 36 weeks to check baby’s position but that’s it. No measurements

I had a scan around 35 weeks to check the position of the baby, but it was only like 5 seconds long. They checked to make sure baby was heads down, took a couple pics for me and it was done. They monitored size of the baby by measuring my stomach. 3 scans was standard for my office.

No probably not. Doctor can feel the position of baby and scans aren’t accurate for weight of baby.
