Placenta abruption… terrified

Danie • Mother of a beautiful 14 year old girl. She forever changed my life for the better.

I am almost 22 weeks and I had an ultrasound a couple days ago due to days of bleeding. I was told I have a cervical Polyp and a small separation of my placenta… I have put myself on bed rest for a week and I’m still bleeding.

I basically was told that it can cause spontaneous labour or hemorrhaging and that because I’m so early there’s no viability.

Baby itself is perfectly healthy.

I was basically left feeling like I’m screwed and to just wait around until the worst case scenario… does anyone have any positive stories or personal expletives with this situation? Mentally I am feeling so depressed and anxious and the stress is causing my IBS-C to be majorly flared all day.
