Stomach bug during ovulation

Ugh, I’m so upset. This is my husband and I’s 4th cycle TTC after our son was stillborn at 30 weeks in July.

This month I decided to wait until I got a Peak on the Clearblue digital ovulation tests bc the every other day method hasn’t worked… I peaked on Dec 31st and we BD that morning. I was planning on BDing again after our friends NYE party and again on Jan 1, but I got sick with a stomach bug (at the party, what a way to end a shitty 2022). Had a fever of 100.5 early on Jan 1.

Has anyone here ever BDed just once and gotten a BFP? I’m so scared the fever ruined our chances.
