Should I believe him

To preface.

-My bf uses condoms when he masturbates so it catches the cum and there is less clean up.

-we sleep in the same room but have separate bedrooms. He works 3rd so sometimes I relax in his room in the AM

I was in his room one morning when I noticed a sex toy meant for the both of us to use wasn’t on the night stand like it was a day or two ago. I look to see if it had fallen to which it was on the floor in a ziplock bag with an unused condom in it. The condom was a brand we don’t have.

This prompts me to snoop and I find a condom in his work bag.

To me, this screams infidelity because why do you need a condom in your work bag and why one in a go bag with our sex toy.

He claimed he bought the skyn brand so it feels better while masturbating.

And that the toy was in the bag so it wouldn’t get dirty (it’s silicone) and the condom was there for use with the toy at a later date. (It’s meant for women’s pleasure during sex so idk why he’d masturbate with it)

Oh and he stated the condom was in his work bag to hide from me since it wasn’t a brand we use and he didn’t want me to be sus if I found it in our collection.

To me, this is all bs excuses. But I could use outside opinions.
