I just want to say this. Anyone and I mean anyone that has questions with breastfeeding, lactation, pumping, breastmilk. Please, please please ask an IBCLC. Doctors (unless they took the specific classes for it) are not educated nor trained, nor really updated with the accurate information for any kind of breastfeeding information. Way more often than not they give wrongful information that can easily damage a mom’s breastfeeding journey that would decrease supply or over feed baby etc. Always always consult with an IBCLC. If you don’t have one search for any in your area or look online. Shari Criso is a great online resource for anything breastfeeding related. La Leche league is also a resource.

Breastmilk and formula are NO WHERE near comparable. The mentality of people that think it is just wow.
