this is my third baby. the doctors office I go to always give you a choice to induce at 39 weeks if you want. my first baby I went into labor naturally at 38+5 weeks. I was induced my second pregnancy bc I was over it and it wasn’t as bad as I thought and went so smoothly. with this third baby I wanted to go into labor naturally again and my doctor told me at my last visit which I just got into third trimester yesterday that she wants to induce me at 39 weeks with no explanation on why.. I have a couple of issues this pregnancy but she didn’t give me a choice. this is the first new doctor at the office that i’m seeing my other two babies had the same doctor. but I like the hospital that I deliver at but it is also about 45mjn to an hour away. and I was on the rode with my first baby in labor and had to cross a ferry luckily the hospital is right when you get off. but anywho i’m not sure why she’s trying to induce me.. I let her set a date but i’m feeling a little off about it now 🥴
